EPDM bonded washers gasket structurally consists of two elements – steel washer and gasket made of ethylene propylene diene monomer, one of the types of synthetic weather-resistant durable rubber EPDM, which has high elasticity and stable consistency during pressing.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer): It is an outdoor elastomer, an elastomer for outdoor applications that requires weather resistance and water resistance. At the same time, EPDM has excellent resistance to ozone, ultraviolet rays and sunlight. Therefore, EPDM compounds are usually developed using sulfur or peroxide curing systems.

Correct Installation

  • Please tighten the surface, the seal flows inward to seal the smaller fastener diameter and surface.
  • Do not over-tighten and over-tighten, otherwise it may cause leakage under the seal and around the fastener, and cause the tray to fall.
  • Note: Leakage under the seal is also possible
