Introduction
Coil roofing nail is composed of a certain quantity of same shape nails with the same distance, connected by copper-plated steel wire, the connecting wire is in a direction of βangle with respect to the center line of each nail, then rolled in coil or bulks.

Shank Type
The main types of coil roofing nail include smooth shank coil roofing nail, ring shank coil roofing nail, and screw shank coil roofing nail.
Ring Shank: Ring shank nails offer superior holding power over smooth shank nails because the wood fills in the crevasse of the rings and also provide friction to help prevent the nail from backing out over time. A ring shank nail is often used in softer types of wood where splitting is not an issue.
Smooth Shank: Smooth shank nails are the most common and are often used for framing and general construction applications. They offer enough holding power for most everyday use.
Surface Treatment
Stainless steel coil roofing nail offer the best corrosion protection available. The steel may oxidize or rust over time but it will never lose its strength from corrosion. Stainless Steel fasteners can be used for exterior or interior applications and generally come in 304 or 316 stainless steel. All Huazhen coil roofing nails use a minimum S304 stainless steel.
General Applications
- For attaching roof shingles, insulation board, and felt to wood framing,for use with nail guns.
- Large flat head provides large bearing surface and strong holding power
- Do not use in treated lumber or where corrosion is a concern.
